
Orangemen Ready for Friday's Meeting With Cornell

Cornell is 2-2 on the year after wins at Buffalo and against neighbor Ithaca College. Three Big Red players are averaging double figures in points: junior Ka’Ron Barnes (16.5 ppg) sophomore Eric Taylor (16.3 ppg), and sophomore Cody Toppert (11.5 ppg).
Syracuse is led by freshmen Carmelo Anthony (27.3 ppg, 10.7 rpg) and Gerry McNamara (15.3 ppg, 4.7 apg). Senior Kueth Duany is averaging 13.7 points per outing. Sophomore Hakim Warrick is posting 11.3 points and 9.3 rebounds per game. Junior Jeremy McNeil recorded six blocks on Tuesday against Colgate, moving him past Otis Hill and into eighth place on the SU career blocked shots list (125).
Fans can listen to the game in the Syracuse area on the SU Radio Network, 1260 AM. Mark Johnson will handle the play-by-play duties, while Matt Park will provide color commentary. The game will also be broadcast on tape delay on Time Warner Cable channel 13.
