Fans Invited to NCAA East Regional Open Practices on Thursday

All college basketball fans are invited to the open practices for all four of the teams participating in this weekend's NCAA East Regional at the Carrier Dome. The practices run from Noon - 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Admission is free of charge and parking is free in the Dome west lots.

Southern Illinois will take the court first from Noon - 12:50 p.m. followed by the Kentucky Wildcats from 1:00 - 1:50 p.m. The Connecticut Huskies will practice from 2:10 - 3:00 p.m., while Maryland will practice from 3:10 - 4:00 p.m.

The first semifinal of the East Regional takes place Friday night at 7:38 p.m. between Southern Illinois and Connecticut. Maryland and Kentucky will battle in the second semifinal which will be begin approximately 25 minutes after the conclusion of the SIU-UConn game.
