Tudryn Places Ninth at the 2002 Phillips 66 National Championship in Minneapolis

Sophomore Annie Tudryn (Springfield, Mass./Cathedral) of the Syracuse University women's swimming team finished ninth Wednesday in the 200 breaststroke at the 2002 Phillips 66 National Championship being held in Minneapolis, Minn. from March 19-23.
Tudryn, the SU women's record holder in the 200 breaststroke, swam the race in a time of 2:37.07, which qualifies her for the summer nationals.
Classmate Elyse McDonough (Delmar, N.Y./Bethlehem Central) will be competing in the 200 individual medley on Saturday, March 23. The SU men's 400 medley relay team also races on Saturday in Minneapolis.
