Wayne Receives BIG EAST Co-Offensive Player of the Week Honors

PROVIDENCE, RI - Syracuse women’s lacrosse player Kim Wayne (Scarsdale, NY/Scarsdale) received BIG EAST Co-Offensive Player of the Week honors on Monday, March 25. The junior midfielder led the Orangewomen with seven points in two wins last weekend.
Wayne scored a goal in the 10-9 victory against BIG EAST opponent Boston College and then recorded a goal and five assists in a 13-5 decision versus Massachusetts. The five assists is second on SU’s single-game records list. Wayne holds the record with seven.
Wayne leads Syracuse and the conference in scoring with 23 points (10 goals, 13 assists).
SU is 4-2 overall on the season and 1-1 in the conference. The Orangewomen play Colgate on Wednesday, March 27 at 5:30 p.m. and Connecticut on Saturday, March 30 at 1 p.m.
