
Forcier Named Asst. Strength & Conditioning Coach

Forcier is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a U.S. Weightlifting Level 1 Club Coach by the U.S. Weightlifting Association.
His responsibilities at Syracuse will include working with the men's basketball team and other squads to be assigned.
"Todd comes from a great program at Dayton where he made a difference," said Will Hicks, head strength and conditioning coach at Syracuse. "He's a high-energy person who will be a great asset to the University."
Forcier earned a bachelor's degree in kinesiology at Washington State University in 1998. He earned an associate's degree from Bellevue Community College in 1995.
While working on his associate's degree, Forcier was an assistant strength coach with the Seattle Supersonics. He also spent one year as a volunteer strength coach with the men's basketball program at Seattle Pacific University and one year as a student assistant strength coach at Washington State. Forcier was employed for one year as an assistant strength coach at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, working primarily with the men's basketball program, before his hiring at Dayton.
