Gerlt Joins SU Athletic Training Staff

Troy Gerlt is the newest member of the SU athletic training staff. A 1992 graduate of the University of Missouri at Columbia, Gerlt earned his master’s degree in physical education from Syracuse in 1994. He replaces Paul Schmidt, who was named head athletic trainer at Wayne State.
Gerlt most recently worked for the Baldwinsville Central School District from 1999-2002. Prior to that, he worked for HealthSouth. The Missouri native was the head athletic trainer at Lincoln University in 1996.
