
Orange Volleyball Takes On Niagara

Syracuse has won all 10 matches in the series, which began on Oct. 27, 1992. Last season, the Orangewomen won in four games, 21-30, 30-25, 22-30, 20-30.
Over the weekend, SU defeated Georgetown and Villanova to start the BIG EAST season with a 2-0 record for the first time since 1996. The Orange also earned a win against St. Francis (N.Y.), 3-0.
Junior outside hitter Morgan Jones leads Syracuse in attack percentage (.268) and is second in kills per game (3.50). Senior libero Christen Casey has a team-best 3.70 digs-per-game average.
For Niagara, Stacy Koslosky boasts a .248 hitting percentage. She ranks also third on the team in blocks with 28. Erin Graham is averaging 3.63 kills and 2.75 digs per game while hitting .198 for the Purple Eagles. Micole Daluisio leads Niagara in digs per game with a 2.94 average.
