Lipton Advances at ITA Regional

Lipton defeated Kristen Harris of Howard, 6-1, 6-7(5), 6-3. She will take on Caroline Stanislawski of Penn, who is ranked in the top 32 in the tournament, at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
In doubles, freshman Carolina Huignard and Lipton lost to Alena Mitackova and Kristyna Pesatova of Hampton, 8-4, and senior Trine Lise Juliussen and sophomore Wei-Ming Leong lost to Emily Mowery and Lingda Yang of William and Mary, 8-3.
