DeAmato Honored as Syracuse Scholar-Athlete of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Senior Dave DeAmato of the SU football team has been named the SU Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 17.
DeAmato is majoring in policy studies. He is a 2002 BIG EAST Academic All-Star. DeAmato has played in all nine games of 2003 as SU's long snapper for punts, field goals and PATs. He has recorded one solo tackle and one assisted tackle on special teams.
DeAmato and the Orangemen host West Virginia in a BIG EAST showdown on Saturday, Nov. 22 at noon in the Carrier Dome.
