21st Annual Salvation Army "Dome Donation Day" is this Saturday

SU fans can drop off their food donations in barrels positioned outside of the Carrier Dome before the start of the Orangemen's (5-4 overall, 2-3 BIG EAST) game against 25th-ranked West Virginia (6-4, 4-1) game this Saturday (November 22). Kickoff is set for 12:00 p.m.
"Dome Donation Day" has become a Syracuse tradition and the area's biggest single-day canned food drive. Volunteers from various community groups, including Syracuse University, will be manning the drop-off sites around the Carrier Dome with a goal beating last year's total of more than 30,000 canned food items.
All collected food items will be provided to more than 2,500 low-income families during the Christmas Bureau Distribution Day on December 23 at the OnCenter.Â
