Field Hockey Loses 2-0 Decision at Northwestern in Final Match of the Season

Katie Walshauser scored in the first half and Christin Nannicelli scored in the second period as Northwestern defeated the Syracuse field hockey team, 2-0, in pouring rain in Evanston, Ill. on Nov. 2.
The Wildcats outshot Syracuse, 15-0, and had 11 penalty corners to SU's one.
Junior goalkeeper Betsy Wagner (Cherry Hills, Colo./Colorado Academy) recorded five saves.
The Orangewomen wrapped up the 2003 season with a final record of 7-11. They finished fifth in the BIG EAST Conference with a 1-4 mark.
