“I too want to reiterate what Walter (Reyes) and R.J. (Anderson) said about the fans. We really do appreciate the support. It was appreciated very much today.
“Coach Pasqualoni and I will be meeting tomorrow to talk about the future of the football program. We will go through the evaluation process as we always do with consideration given to all factors – past, present and future. We plan to address this publicly at the end of the week. Until that time, neither Coach Pasqualoni, nor I will make any statements.
“Now, I want to make a comment so that you don’t jump to any conclusions. I have planned for about two months to be in New York on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for scheduled BIG EAST meetings, NCAA Football meetings and The National Football Foundation College Hall of Fame at which one of my former players from Dartmouth is going to be inducted. The fact that I am out of town – that’s where I am. That’s what I’m doing. Thank you for joining us.”
