
Forth Named to Verizon Academic All-District Basketball Team

Forth is a three-time member of the Syracuse Athletic Director’s Honor Roll, which honors student-athletes who achieve at least a 3.0 grade point average in a semester while competing in a varsity sport. Forth was also a BIG EAST Conference Academic All-Star last season.
An inclusive education major, Forth maintains a 3.86 GPA. Now in his second season as an Orangeman, Forth hasn’t missed a start in his 58-game career. He is averaging 4.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per game this season.
To be eligible for the Verizon Academic All-District I team, a player must be at least a sophomore with a 3.20 cumulative grade point average. Forth and the other five District I selections will advance to the national Academic All-America ballot, with results scheduled to be announced on Thursday, March 6, 2003.
The Orangemen travel to Michigan State on Sunday, Feb. 23, for their final non-conference regular-season tilt of the year. Tipoff is set for 2:00 p.m.
