Anthony Shares BIG EAST Rookie Honor

PROVIDENCE, RI -- Syracuse's Carmelo Anthony and Craig Smith from Boston College were named Co-Rookies of the Week by the BIG EAST Conference on Monday, Feb. 24.
Anthony was honored for the eighth time overall and the third week in a row. He had 21 points and 13 rebounds in SU's 66-60 victory against St. John's on Feb. 18. In a 76-75 triumph at Michigan State on Feb. 23, Anthony posted 25 points and seven rebounds.
Smith scored 26 points and had nine rebounds in his one outing versus Virginia Tech.
