Anthony On Wooden Award Top 30 List

Anthony was one of four players who were not Wooden Award Preseason Candidates but were added to the list.
The next stage of the award process includes a paring down to 15-20 candidates. The official ballot will be released in March.
The Wooden Award is presented annually to the nation’s best player “at an institution of higher education who has proven to his university that he is making progress toward graduation and maintaining a cumulative 2.00 grade-point average.” The award was created in 1976.
The Los Angeles Athletic Club will host the 2003 Award ceremony on Saturday, April 12.
