Springer and Bliss Selected in 2003 Major League Lacrosse College Draft

Senior attackman Michael Springer (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood)was selected in the first round (sixth pick overall) of the 2003 Major League Lacrosse College Draft by the Bridgeport Barrage on May 29.
Senior defenseman Solomon Bliss (Tully, N.Y./Tully)was chosen in the fourth round (20th overall) by the Rochester Rattlers, where he will join former SU defensive teammates Marshall Abrams and John Glatzel. The Rattlers have the most Orangemen on their roster of any team in the MLL (13): Marshall Abrams, Sol Bliss, Josh Coffman, John Glatzel, Kevin Kelley, Charlie Lockwood, Jim Morrissey, Casey Powell, Ryan Powell, Andy Puccia, Brian Solliday, Regy Thorpe and Spencer Wright.
Major League Lacrosse begins its third season on May 31.
