Fine Earns Academic Mentor/Chapter Advisor Award

SYRACUSE, NY -- Syracuse men's basketball associate head coach Bernie Fine received the Outstanding Academic Mentor/Chapter Advisor Award from the University's Office of Greek Life and Experiential Living at an awards ceremony on April 29.
The award is presented annually to a person who makes a significant contribution to the academic preparation of students living in Greek housing.
Fine a 1967 graduate of Syracuse, has spent 27 seasons on his alma mater's men's basketball coaching staff. In 2000 he was promoted to associate head coach. Fine owns the longest consecutive term as an assistant coach among active coaches in the Division I ranks. The Orangemen won the NCAA Division I championship in 2003.
