Football Game Against UCF Will be Televised on ESPN Regional

The Orangemen football game against the University of Central Florida will begin at 12:00 p.m. The game will be broadcast on ESPN Regional television. SU’s game against UCF is the second of a three-game homestand during which the Orangemen will host Louisville (9/13) and Toledo (9/27). Syracuse is 2-0 against Central Florida.
SU's game against Toledo will kickoff at 6:30 p.m., due to the observance of Rosh Hashanah. Syracuse beat the Rockets, 35-12, in the only previous meeting between these schools in 1999.
The Orangemen will open the season at North Carolina on Saturday, September 6 at 1:30 p.m. SU beat the Tar Heels, 20-9, in the only meeting between these teams in Chapel Hill in 1995. UNC beat SU in 1996 and 2002 in the Carrier Dome.
