The Syracuse University football program takes great pride in education. In the last 13 years, the Orangemen have been honored with the Academic Achievement Honorable Mention Award from the American Football Coaches Association 10 times and, in 2000, the Orangemen were honored for having a 100 percent graduation rate in the Class of 1999. The award is given to university football programs that have a graduation rate of more than 70 percent. Â Success for the Syracuse University football program goes far beyond the gridiron. The word "student-athlete" truly epitomize Coach Pasqualoni's program.
