SU Radio Show "Orange Pulse" is Back on the Air
9/2/2003 4:12:23 PM | Football
For the first show tonight (September 2) Johnson will be joined by Dick MacPherson, who is the color analyst on the SU Football Radio Network. Johnson and MacPherson will entertain questions from the audience at Tully’s.
"The programming concentrates exclusively on Syracuse Athletics," Johnson said. "We feature the program, its coaches, student-athletes and professional staff and provide some interesting insights into the world of intercollegiate athletics. 'Orange Pulse' provides SU fans with the story inside the story, as well as include interviews with national sports personalities and journalists.”
ESPN Radio 1260 is the local AM radio flagship station of the Syracuse University Radio Network and is owned by Citadel Communications, the broadcast rights partner of Syracuse University.
During the 2003 football season, all Syracuse games can be heard live on the Syracuse Sports Radio Network, with WAQX-95.7FM in Syracuse serving as the flagship station. Johnson handles the play-by-play, while former SU coach Dick MacPherson serves as the analyst. Matt Park is the pre-game and post-game host and he also serves as the sideline reporter.
This list of affiliates carrying SU football on the Syracuse Sports Network is as of Sept. 1, 2003. It is subject to change.
