
Swimming and Diving to Honor Seniors Against West Virginia

The women will honor two highly-accomplished swimmers in Kalei Mahi and Elyse McDonough, while the men recognize the hard work and contributions of Peter Evans, Steve Polucha, Spencer Raymond, and Ricky Rodgriguez.
This will be the seventh meeting between Syracuse and West Virginia in men's swimming and diving. The all-time series is tied at 3-3. Last season in Morgantown, the Mountaineers defeated the Orangemen, 133.5 - 109.5. The Syracuse women have never lost to WVU in dual-meet action. The Orangewomen lead the series, 6-0. Last year, they posted a 131-106 victory.
After the West Virginia meet, SU takes to the road for three consecutive dual meets at Connecticut (Jan. 24), Seton Hall (Jan. 31) and Villanova (Feb. 7). The 2004 BIG EAST Championship is Feb. 19-21, 2004 at the Nassau County Aquatics Center in Uniondale, N.Y.
