SU Tennis Prepares for Hampton Roads Collegiate Tennis Invitational

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse women's tennis team begins competition at the Hampton Roads Collegiate Tennis Invitational of Newport News on Friday, Oct. 15 at Huntington Park in Virginia Beach, Va.
This weekend's tournament will be the third of the fall for the Orange. SU will compete against players from Connecticut, Delaware, George Washington, Hampton, Hofstra, Howard, James Madison, Long wood, Norfolk State, Old Dominion, Radford, Richmond, UMBC, Virginia Commonwealth, Virginia Wesleyan, Washington College and William & Mary.
Making the trip for Syracuse will be junior Wei-Ming Leong, sophomores Katie Bramante, Carolina Huignard, Ashley Lipton and Kendyl Severino and freshmen Victoria Vaynberg, Catherine Zawadzki and Pearly Leung.
Competition begins at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 15, and will continue into the late evening. The tournament concludes on Sunday, Oct. 17.
