Orange Faces the #15/14 Mountaineers on Thursday Night Football

MORGANTOWN, W. Va. - The Syracuse football team travels to Morgantown, W. Va. for an important BIG EAST match up with No. 15/14 West Virginia on Thursday, Oct. 21 at 7:30 p.m. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN’s Thursday Night College Football.
Syracuse owns a 30-20 record against West Virginia and has won six of the last nine games in the series. The Orange’s last win in Morgantown came in 2000, 31-27. West Virginia has won the last two versus SU, 34-23 at the Carrier Dome in 2003 and 34-7 in Morgantown in 2002.
ORANGE ON THE RADIO
The SU Radio Network broadcast of the SU/WVU game will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The SU pre-game show will feature an interview with senior fullback Greg Hanoian. Also, Coach Mac will talk with former West Virginia head coach Don Nehlen. The entire broadcast can be listened to via suathletics.com.
