Orange Football Meets #8 Florida State at the Carrier Dome

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse football team plays its second consecutive home game Saturday, Oct. 9 at 7 p.m. when the Orange hosts the Florida State Seminoles. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN2. The Seminoles will be making their first appearance at the Carrier Dome since 1989.
Florida State leads the all-time series with the Orange, 3-1. The last meeting between the two teams was a 46-14 FSU win in 1991.
The game will be broadcast on the SU Radio Network, with WAQX-95.7FM serving as the flagship station. Join the Voice of the Orange Matt Park, Dick MacPherson and Kevin Maher for the Orange pre-game show live on the SU Quad.
The Excellus BlueCross BlueShield Football Fun Zone on the SU Quad will open three hours prior to kickoff for the Florida State game.
