Men's Lacrosse to Host Loyola on Oct. 8

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The defending national champion Syracuse men's lacrosse team will host Loyola College in a fall scrimmage on Friday, Oct. 8, at 3 p.m. The game will be played at SU's Coyne Field. Admission is free.
Syracuse and Loyola were supposed to meet last weekend at the Price Modern Lacrosse for Leukemia Tournament, but poor field conditions cancelled the event.
Last season, the Orange defeated the Greyhounds, 13-8, at the Carrier Dome. SU went on to win its last seven games and captured its ninth NCAA Championship with a 14-13 victory against Navy in the title game.
