Women's Freshmen Rowers Finish First at Saratoga

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - The women's rowing team sent two freshmen boats to the Head of the Fish in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. on Saturday, Oct. 30. The SU "A" boat finished first with a time of 14:22.25. The Syracuse "B" boat finished 10th out of 42 competitors.
In the Orange's first boat was Alana Hager-Johnson, Theresa Alessio, Sarah Weir, Zaula Usman, Erica Mahon, Allison Doodeman, Lauren Piro, Lindsay Lentini and coxswain Christina Campagna.
The Orange's second boat was comprised of Sarah Block, Katie Adamczak, Christine Turner, Christine Breen, Jen Dow, Briana Harper, Jenna Strausser, Amy Hobbs and coxswain Krysten Rielly.
The varsity eight will return to action Sunday, Nov. 7 at the Princeton Chase in Princeton, N.J.
