Former Orange Standouts Help NFL Teams to Division Titles

The Indianapolis Colts moved to 10-3 and clinched the AFC South Division title with its win Sunday over the Texans. Donovan McNabb and the Philadelphia Eagles clinched the NFC East Division and a first-round bye in the NFC playoffs by defeating Washington and improving to 12-1 on the year.
Former Orange defensive end Dwight Freeney leads the Colts and the NFL with 13 sacks this season, which matches his career high set in 2002. Freeney has tallied three sacks in each of his last two games.
Former SU wide receiver Marvin Harrison leads the Colts with 70 receptions for 896 yards and a team-high 13 touchdowns. James Mungro has two touchdown receptions this season. Rookie Josh Thomas has eight tackles, including one sack for the Colts.
McNabb is third in the NFL with 29 touchdown passes on 277-of-431 passing for 3,616 yards and only six interceptions. McNabb’s passer rating of 107.2 is third best in the NFL and his 3,616 yards ranks fourth.
