SYRACUSE, NY -- The #7/8 Syracuse Orange (12-1) complete the 2004 portion of its campaign on Thursday, December 30, against unbeaten Hofstra (9-0) in the Carrier Dome.

Syracuse brings a modest five-game winning streak into the contest. The Orange are 9-0 this year in the Dome and won the only previous meeting with Hofstra in 2001.

SU defeated Albany in its last time out, 72-55, on December 28. Hakim Warrick posted his seventh double-double of the season (22 points-14 rebounds) in the victory.

Hofstra won at Stony Brook on Monday, 66-54. The Pride has limited the opposition to 57 points-or-less infour of its last five outings.
