SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Sophomore Luk Boral, a member of the men’s swimming team, has been honored as the Syracuse University Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the week of Dec. 6.

Boral is a two-time Athletic Director’s Honor Roll selection. He was also named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star as a freshman. Boral is majoring in information management and technology at Syracuse.

The swimming team competed at the Nutmeg Invitational last weekend, where Boral took top honors in the 200 individual medley, the 100 breaststroke and the 200 breaststroke. The SU swimming and diving team will head to Puerto Rico for its third annual Winter Training Trip on January 2, 2005. The Orange will face BIG EAST rival West Virginia in Morgantown, W. Va. on Jan. 15.
