The Syracuse University allotment of 12,000 tickets for the 2004 Champs Sports Bowl will be sold to SU patrons at a discounted rate from the $45 face value. Ticket orders for fans interested in priority seating will be taken through 4:30 p.m. on Friday, December 10. Click here for travel package information (or see below for details).
The Orange will represent the BIG EAST Conference in the 2004 Champs Sports Bowl on Tuesday, December 21, 2004 in the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium in Orlando, Fla. Syracuse (6-5) will face Georgia Tech (6-5) of the ACC. Kickoff is set for 7:45 p.m. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN.
Game ticket will cost $25 for Ernie Davis Football Fund members, Carrier Dome box holders and Football Lettermen’s Club members. Individuals in these categories should call the Orange Pack office (315-443-1419) to place their order.
Syracuse University season tickets holders, Orange Pack members, SU Alumni, Syracuse University faculty and staff and SU Athletics Corporate Partners, may also purchase tickets for $25 each at the Carrier Dome Box Office. These ticket orders must be done via phone (888-DOMETIX), via fax at 315-443-3692, or in-person at the Carrier Dome Box Office. The deadline for priority seating is 4:30 p.m. on Friday, December 10, 2004. Seat assignments will be determined based on Orange Pack points. Ticket order forms for the 2004 Champs Sports Bowl are available via the Carrier Dome web site, http://dometix.com or the SU athletics website (click here) or go to www.suathletics.com -- under the 2004 Champs Sports Bowl link in the SU Center (click here for ticket form).
Payment may be in the form of cash, MasterCard, VISA or American Express. If tickets need to be mailed a $10 overnight shipping charge will be added to the price of each ticket package.
Syracuse University students can purchase tickets in the Orange student section on Saturday, December 11 at the Carrier Dome Box Office at 2:00 p.m. The SU student ticket price is $20. All SU students can purchase a maximum of two tickets with their Syracuse University student ID card.
The general public wishing to purchase tickets in the Syracuse University sections can do so through the Carrier Dome Box Office. These tickets are $35 each.
All tickets will remain on sale until Saturday, December 18. Except for limited use by NCAA corporate partners, tickets may not be offered in a commercial promotion or as a prize in a sweepstakes or contest.
TRAVEL PACKAGES
Official WorldTek travel packages will be available beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 7. The WorldTek travel package includes airfare, ground transfers, a three-night hotel stay at SU headquarters hotel and a bowl souvenir. Travel packages will be on sale on Tuesday, December 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday, December 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
