Orange Swimmers Competing at ECAC Championship

Six Orange swimmers are competing at the 2004 ECAC Open Swimming and Diving Championships at the University of Pittsburgh on Feb. 26-28.
In the preliminaries of the men's 50 freestyle, Peter Evans was 14th with a time of 21.62. Fellow senior Steve Polucha was 15th in the prelims of the men's 200 individual medley with a time of 1:56.60.
In the men's 500 freestyle prelims, Geoff Harrison was 27th with a time of 4:51.08. Wes Matson was 29th with a time of 4:51.77 and Mike Gavan was 30th with a time of 4:53.06.
Polucha, Gavan, Matson and Evans teamed up to compete in the 400 medley relay. They were 13th with a time of 3:39.32.
