Men's Swimming and Diving Wins Fifth in a Row at Villanova

    Raymond was first in the 50 breaststroke (26.87) and the 100 breaststroke (57.66).  Anstrom won the 50 freestyle (21.55) and the 100 freestyle (47.64).  Schelling claimed first place in the 100 butterfly (51.93) and the 50 backstroke (24.76).  Mugavin swam the meet's top times in the 500 freestyle (4:39.50) and the 1,000 freestyle (9:45.22).
    Senior Kalei Mahi won the 100 backstroke (1:07.20) and the 50 breaststroke (31.35), but Villanova defeated the Syracuse women, 168-124.  The Orangewomen are now 3-4 on the season.
    The Syracuse swimmers and divers will next be in action on Feb. 19-21 at the BIG EAST Championship, which is being held at the Nassau County Aquatics Center in Uniondale, N.Y.
