Boral Qualifies for 2004 NCAA Men's Swimming Championship

SYRACUSE, NY -- Freshman Luk Boral is seeded 21st in the men's 200 breaststroke for the upcoming NCAA Men's Swimming Championship to be held March 25-27, 2004 at the Nassau County Aquatics Center in East Meadow, N.Y. Boral qualified for the prestigious meet by setting a BIG EAST record with a time of 1:59.30 at this year's conference championship. He went on to improve that time to 1:58.57 at the Tar Heel Invitational on March 4.
Djordje Filipovic was the last Orangeman to qualify for the NCAA Men's Swimming Championship in 2001.
Syracuse will be represented by Elyse McDonough at the NCAA Women's Championship on March 18-20 at Texas A&M University.
