SU Announces the 2004 Men's Basketball Season Ticket Holder of the Year

As part of the "Fans First" VIP Card program, the Syracuse University Department of Athletics announced the winner of the 2004 Men's Basketball Season Ticket Holder of the Year contest prior to the Orangemen's regular-season finale against Connecticut. This year's winner is Mark Conti of Rochester, N.Y.

Mark is a long-time supporter of Syracuse and has supported the Orangemen for 20 years. Mark has made the trek from Rochester, braving upstate NY I-90 snowstorms. He shows his loyalty by wearing orange to every game, including his orange wig, beard and spray painted orange shoes. Mark has become friends with another season ticket holder, Bob Baritone, who is wheelchair-bound. Mark often drives Bob and his friends to the game.

As the VIP Grand Prize Winner, Mark won a prize package valued at more than $1,800.
