Win A Pair of Football Tickets with SU Athletics at the State Fair

Syracuse University fans can register to win a pair of football tickets when visiting the Syracuse University Athletics display area at the New York State Fair from August 26th through September 6th at the Science and Industry Building (to the right inside the main gain of the Fairgrounds). SU is featured in the Time Warner Television section of the building. SU Athletics Department staff will draw one winner at the top of every hour beginning at 11:00 a.m. The winners will have their choice of a pair of tickets to four of SU's home games this year, including against Cincinnati (Sept. 18), Rutgers (Oct. 2), Connecticut (Oct. 30) and Pittsburgh (Nov. 6).

Fans visiting the Fair on Saturday, August 28, can meet Voice of the Orange Matt Park and SU football radio network analyst Dick MacPherson at the SU Athletics location beginning at 12:00 p.m.

Free SU football posters and schedule cards will be distributed while supplies last. In addition, fans can purchase individual game and ticket packages on location at the Fair.

Members of the 2004 National Champion SU men's lacrosse team joined representatives of the 2004 Division II National Champion LeMoyne College men's lacrosse team and New York Governor George Pataki in cutting the ceremonial ribbon to officially open the 2004 New York State Fair on Thursday, August 26.

On Monday, August 30, SU head women's basketball coach Keith Cieplicki will be featured at the Mackay Basketball Courts at 1:00 p.m.

The SU football team begins its season on Sunday, September 5 at Purdue. The game will begin at 1:30 p.m. and will be televised nationally on ABC.
