Boeheim To Appear On NPR's "Wait, Wait... Don't Tell Me"

SYRACUSE, NY -- Men's basketball coach Jim Boeheim is scheduled to appear on the live braodcast recording of NPR's "Wait, Wait... Don't Tell Me," from the John H. Mulroy Civic Center on Thursday, September, 16 at 7:30 p.m.
Boeheim has been chosen as the celebrity guest for the show's "Not my Job" segement in which he will be quizzed by host Peter Sagal, and judge and scorekeeper Carl Kasell, on subjects in which his coaching profession lacks much expertise.
"Wait, Wait... Don't Tell Me" is a weekly program in which the hosts quiz a panel of guests from the entertainment industry to try and discern actual news from nonsense. The program, one of NPR's most popular, is broadcasted on over 290 NPR Stations across the country to1.5 million radio listeners.
The show, which will be broadcasted on Saturday, September 18 at 11:00 a.m., and again on Sunday, September 19 at 7:00 p.m., hopes to raise money for the Oswego public radio station WRVO-FM (89.9).
