SU Hits the Road for the Third Time This Season

The Syracuse football team plays its third road game in four weeks and sophomore Perry Patterson earns his first start of the season at quarterback when the Orange plays at No. 12 Virginia on Sept. 25 at 3:30 p.m. Patterson finished the Cincinnati game with 156 yards on 10-of-16 passing with one touchdown. This will be the third meeting between SU and Virginia. The Orange won the first two meetings, the most recent a 6-3 victory at Archbold Stadium in 1977.
The game will be broadcast on the SU Radio Network, with WAQX-95.7FM serving as the flagship station, as well as via the internet.
SU will host Rutgers (Oct. 2), Connecticut (Oct. 30) and Pittsburgh (Nov. 6). For tickets call 1-888-DOMETIX or via the internet – dometix.com. SU football fans can purchase the “Double Play” ticket package, which includes SU’s game against Florida State and the fan’s choice of either Connecticut or Pittsburgh for $90 in an upper level preferred seating area and $75 in an upper level non-preferred seating area, as available.
