PROVIDENCE, RI – Senior forward Hakim Warrick (www.suathletics.com/Hakim) and sophomore guard Jared Dudley from Boston College were named BIG EAST Conference Co-Players of the Week on Monday, January 24.
Warrick posted a pair of double-doubles in a 2-0 week for the Orange. He had 25 points and 11 rebounds in a 78-73 overtime win over Georgetown. In a 72-64 triumph over West Virginia, Warrick had 22 points and 11 boards. He shot 58.3 percent from the field in the two games.
Warrick’s double-double against West Virginia on Saturday was his 10th of the season. He leads the Orange in points (20.1) and rebounding (9.2) averages. Warrick is currently seventh on the Orange career rebounds list with 912 rebounds.
