Palas Named Scholar-Athlete of the Week for Jan. 31

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Sophomore Jake Palas, a member of the men’s track and field team, has been honored as the Syracuse University Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 31.
Palas was a member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll both semesters his freshman year. He was also a 2004 BIG EAST Academic All-Star selection. He is majoring in television, radio, film at SU.
SU hosts the Syracuse University Invitational this weekend, February 5-6, at Manley Field House.
