Varsity Eight Finishes 14th at Head of the Charles

BOSTON, MASS- The Syracuse University men's rowing team traveled to the Head of the Charles on Sunday with the Varsity Eight boat finishing in 14th place out of 40 crews that competed in the Championship Eight race in a time of 15:27.00.

Crew members in the championship eight boat were Tyler Page (Grimsby, Ont.), Terry Wilkin (King of Prussia, Pa.), Ryan Armstrong (North Andover, Mass.), Tim Mambort (Penn Ridge, Ohio), Dave Barone (Maumee, Ohio), Justin Stangel (Madison, Wisc.), Bartosz Szczyrba , Dan O’Shaughessy (Elizabethtown, Ont.) and coxswain Chad Taylor (New Milford, Conn.).

SU will next be in action on Sunday Oct. 30 when it competes in the Princeton Chase.
