One Syracuse football and two exhibition men's basketball games have taken place on November 2 in the Carrier Dome. All three contests results in Orange wins.
The SU football squad never trailed in a 27-6 victory against Temple on this date in 1991. David Walker rushed for 124 yards on 21 carries, while quarterback Don McPherson completed 10-of-18 passes for 101 yards. Syracuse kickers played a big part in the victory. John Biskup made both of his field goal attempts, one from 40 yards and another 50, while punter Pat O'Neill averaged 50.0 yards on his three punts.
Last season the SU men's basketball team hosted a local foe for its first exhibition game. Six Syracuse players reached double figures in scoring in a 104-46 victory against LeMoyne. The current SU squad will host LeMoyne in an exhibition game on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Carrier Dome.
Syracuse defeated California AAU, 96-93, in an exhibition in 1999. Ryan Blackwell finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Jason Hart also had 16 points and six rebounds.
