Kelly Duan was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll, announced yesterday.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Senior Kelly Duan was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll for the fifth time this season for her performances last week against Albany and Seton Hall. She averaged 4.33 kills, 2.56 digs, and .89 blocks per game in the two matches. It also marks the third week in a row that Duan has been named to the Honor Roll.

In the five game loss at Albany on Nov. 1, DUan led the team with 21 kills while tallying 14 digs. It marked her third double-double in a row, and eighth on the season. In Sunday’s 3-1 win against Seton Hall, Duan had 18 kills and nine digs to go along with five block assists.

SU is on the road for the last weekend of regular season BIG EAST play. On Friday, SU takes on fourth-place Cincinnati for a 7:30 p.m. contest. Then, on Sunday, the Orange squares off against No. 7 Louisville in a 1:00 p.m. match.
