
Mark Wins Pentathlon at SU Invitational

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Sophomore Sheron Mark broke her own SU indoor record in the pentathlon with 3,377 points on Saturday at Manley Field House in the SU Invitational. She set a mark of 3,246 points earlier this season. She also recorded a personal-best in the long jump with a mark of 19-04.75.
Freshmen Jillian Drouin and Kaity Lambracht finished in third and fourth, respectively, with point totals of 3,083 and 2,974.
After four events in the men's heptathlon, sophomore Jake Palas sits in second place with 2,405 points. The heptathlon will resume on Sunday.
The remainder of track and field events will take place on Sunday at Manley Field House at 9 a.m.
