Irving Named SU Scholar-Athlete for March 28

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Sophomore Casey Irving of the women’s rowing team, has been honored as the Syracuse University Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the week of Mar. 28.
Irving is a two-time Athletic Director’s Honor Roll selection. She was also selected as a BIG EAST Academic All-Star in 2003-04. Irving is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences at Syracuse.
This past weekend, Irving rowed in the fifth seat of the varsity eight that claimed the Kittell Cup against Boston University.
The Orange will row against Cornell and Yale on Saturday, April 2 in Derby, Conn.
