Calling all creative minds, especially those with Orange spirit running through their veins. The Syracuse University Department of Athletics is on a quest for a department-wide slogan to unite all Orange fans and the program. We have many cheers and rituals, however, we are seeking a single phrase such as Alabama’s “Roll Tide” or Auburn’s “War Eagle”.

The criteria for the entries are:

-symbolizes school’s history and tradition;

-must have competitive tone (denotes competition);

-demonstrates good sportsmanship;

-four words or less;

-no profanity/vulgar language.

The new slogan will be announced at the spring football game on April 23. The deadline for entries is Monday, April 18. The fan submitting the winning entry will receive a prize package of $200 and two field passes to the Syracuse-Buffalo football game on September 10.
