McGrorey Named SU Scholar-Athlete of the Week for March 7

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Senior Kelly McGrorey on the women’s rowing team, has been honored as the Syracuse University Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the week of Mar. 7.
McGrorey is a six-time Athletic Director’s Honor Roll selection. She has also been selected as a BIG EAST Academic All-Star each of her first three years. McGrorey is majoring in health and exercise science at Syracuse.
The women’s rowing team takes its spring training trip in Melbourne, Fla., March 10-19, and the Orange will scrimmage Connecticut on March 11. The Orange’s first competition of the spring will be March 26 at Boston University.
