Hanoian Inks Deal With Detroit

ALLEN PARK, Mich. – Syracuse University fullback Greg Hanoian signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Detroit Lions yesterday. Hanoian became the 13th former Orange to sign with the Lions’ organization.
In 2004, Hanoian rushed 10 times for 41 yards, and caught five passes for 24 yards
and a touchdown. In 2001, Hanoian moved to linebacker after being listed as a running back in his true freshman year. He then moved to tight end prior to the 2002 season and back to fullback for 2003 Spring practice. Hanoian, was a member of the 2003 Fall and 2004 Spring Athletic Director’s Honor Roll. In 2004, he played in nine games, starting eight and won SU’s Pat Miller Outstanding Athlete, Student & Citizen Award.
Hanoian, a native of Seakonk Massachusetts, majored in supply chain management at Syracuse.
