Boral, who has set a new Webster Pool record in the 200-breast in each of the last three home meet, ranks in the top 100 in the country in three events (100-breast, 200-breast, 200-IM). Duenas is ranked in three events as well, cracking the top 100 in the 200-fly, 200-IM and 400-IM.
The Orange will be looking for its first BIG EAST wins of the season as the men are 1-2 (0-2 BIG EAST), while the women hold a mark of 0-3 (0-2 BIG EAST). Despite dropping both the men’s and women’s meets with the Huskies last season, the Orange hold an advantage in the all-time series on both sides as the SU men lead 15-3 all-time and the women hold a 10-7 edge.
Connecticut enters Saturday’s meet with the men holding a perfect record of 4-0 (3-0 BIG EAST), while the women are 2-2 (1-2 BIG EAST). The Huskies recently returned from their winter training trip and have not competed since December 2-3 when they competed in the U.S. Open Championships.
Action will begin at 12 p.m. at the Wolff-Zackin Natatorium.
