Townsend Named Scholar-Athlete of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Sophomore Keisha Townsend, a member of the Orange women’s track & field team, has been honored as the Syracuse University Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 23.
Townsend, who hails from San Jose, Calif., has been named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll twice. She is a marketing major at Syracuse.
The Orange will take part in the Penn State Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 28.
