SYRACUSE – Syracuse University Director of Athletics Dr. Daryl Gross and head women’s basketball Quentin Hillsman addressed the media on Wednesday, October 18. Known as an outstanding recruiter, Hillsman was named head coach after serving as the interim head coach since June 6. Hillsman, who was an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the Orange during the 2005-06 season, signed a five-year contract. Hillsman is the fifth head coach since the program began in 1971-72.
